The Silver Spoon, the most successful Italian cookbook of the last 50 years, is now available in an all-new revised edition. Originally the book was published in 1950, but it became an instant classic, selling over a million copies in eight editions. The Silver Spoon was first created and published in the famous Italian design and architecture magazine Domus. A select group of cooking experts have been commissioned to collect hundreds of traditional Italian recipes and make them available to a wider modern audience for the first time. In the process, they updated the ingredients, quantities and methods to suit contemporary tastes and customs, while preserving the memory of the old recipes for future generations.
