Pol Roger Sir Winston Churchill

Prestigious cuvée created in tribute to Sir Winston Churchill - "My taste is simple, I am easily satisfied with the best", was first produced in 1975 and still celebrates success today. The taste is dominated by Pinot Noir, which provides structure, breadth and robustness, while Chardonnay contributes elegance and finesse.

It consists exclusively of grapes from Grand Crus Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vineyards, which were already cultivated during Churchill's lifetime. The exact composition and method of production remains a closely guarded secret. Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill is produced only in the best vintages and aged for a minimum of 10 years, so it is always released later than other vintages from Polo Roger, proving to us that Churchill was a lover of older vintages.

With its beautiful intense golden color with beautiful bright shades, this wine attracts all the attention. After opening, you will smell the delicate scent of dried rose petals lightly mixed with peppery notes that will captivate you with their freshness. After inhaling, there are hints of vanilla and dried fruit, which complement the well-developed bouquet. With the first sip, your taste buds will notice a light charming taste of citrus fruits, a strong aroma of quince and green tea, enhanced by the deliciously elegant bubbles that are characteristic of this wine.
