Candle Freedom by Anna Geislerova

A hand-cut crystal glass with a candle made especially for the 60th anniversary of the founding of Amnesty International, which is celebrating this anniversary by joining forces with the company Rückl and introducing Freedom Candles.

Each Amnesty International branch will select a representative to design the candle and a portion of each candle sold will go to support Amnesty International.

Anna (Aňa) Geislerová, who was chosen for the Czech branch, projected the motif of seagulls flying into the sky, which for her means freedom, onto the hand-blown crystal.

How to care for the candle:

First, shorten the wick by approx. 3mm to prevent unwanted smoking. If this happens, carefully extinguish the candle, wait for the wax to cool and remove the burnt ends. Never move a candle with melted wax.

The candle should burn for a maximum of 3 - 5 hours.

If there is around 6 mm of wax at the bottom of the jar, do not light the candle any further, the glass may break.

Do not leave the candle unattended, in a draft or in direct sunlight (the colour may change). Due to the natural ingredients, the wax surface may freeze when exposed to certain lighting and temperatures.
