Candle 1945

A scent that captures happiness...A blend of fresh herbs, the sensuality of Italian bergamot, oriental roses, orange blossom and wild jasmine, finally cumulating in warm undertones of sandalwood and cedarwood.

For one of the founders of Amoln, the year 1945 is close to her heart, as it was the year her beloved father was born. It mimics the unique scent of a father who never wears commercial perfume and represents the memory of a lifelong bond and unconditional love. His special and inimitable personal fragrance is developed through his daily activities from squeezing fresh juice for the children in the morning, picking wild flowers from the small garden, carpentry in the garage to cooking with Asian spices and plants.

How to care for a candle:

First shorten the wick by approx. 3mm to prevent unwanted smoking. If this happens, carefully extinguish the candle, wait for the wax to cool and remove the burnt ends. Never move a candle with melted wax.

The candle should burn for a maximum of 3 - 5 hours.

If there is around 6mm of wax at the bottom of the jar, do not light the candle any further, it may crack.

Do not leave the candle unattended, in a draft or in direct sunlight (the color may change). Due to the natural ingredients, the wax surface may freeze when exposed to certain lighting and temperature.

Amoln uses high quality mineral and vegetable waxes, locally harvested in the southern part of Sweden, as well as ecological wicks. Their twelve-step production process takes two weeks for one candle, they are poured into hand-painted jars and all this just confirms how unique these candles are.
