.J. Martin, the woman behind the LaDoubleJ brand, was born in California. Yet in 2001, she found herself in Milan and began contributing to lifestyle magazines such as Harpers Bazaar USA, WSJ and others. She was interested in Italian fashion, design and architecture. In 2015, under the brand LaDoubleJ, she started publishing her own magazine, a catalogue of vintage clothing and homeware. And in 2017 she initiated the creation of her own collection. Since then it's been a ride of creativity, courage and fulfillment.

Today, the LaDoubleJ brand offers several spirited collections of dresses and summer outfits, very colorful porcelain, glassware and table textiles. At first glance your eyes cross and you feel the need to defend yourself, but after a while you give up and know that a piece from J.J. Martin you're going to need soon.
